We were motivated to form this foundation by our children's compassionate hearts and "bias for action" in wanting to develop programs that help and serve others. The Foundation for The Greater Good is a vehicle for them and others to implement these projects to "do good" in our society and improve the lives of others.

I admire St. Clare, whose name I took for my confirmation. A famous quote of St. Clare's that has resonated with me my entire life is: “May the love you have in your hearts be shown outwardly with your deeds." Our foundation follows St. Clare's creed and fuels my desire to improve policies and programs for children.

When a baseball teammate of mine passed away in 2017 from cancer at the very young age of 14, it had a profound impact on my life. This motivated me to dive deep into a cause that would “benefit the greater good” in my community. This was my spark to start our foundation's "Go Gold” Campaign for Childhood Cancer!
